A Man from Ethiopia

There was once a man from Ethiopia

His lot thus far was cornucopia.

Yet he wanted more and knew he should,

So he studied and searched all he could.

The scroll from the prophet in hand,

Reading as he journeyed to his land.

Along came the preacher preaching,

Offering the thing he was reaching.

The Man spoken of before,

Died, buried, arose and much more.

Salvation is now here,

The Eunuch shed a tear.

The things for which he looked,

He found and now was hooked.

The gospel stout and strong,

Showing all who are wrong.

Jesus is the Way,

And as he left there that day.

Joy aplenty and splendor galore,

He was called guilty of sin, No more…
