We don’t typically list this, but taking a survey seems helpful. Often, we think it is much harder to be saved than lost… That may not be accurate. Consider:
There are many things one would have to do to be lost.
You would have to reject God’s existence – Rom. 1:20 — Psa. 19:1-4
You would have to reject the claims that Christ was the Messiah, the son of God — Luke 2:11; Luke 3:21-22
You would have to reject the power in Christ’s name — Acts 4:12
You would have to reject that the bible is “God breathed” — 2 Tim. 3:16-17
You would have to reject the Bible as the only authority for humankind — Matt. 4:4
You would have to reject the Word — Rom. 1:16
You would have to reject that your sins separate you from God — Isa. 59:1-2
You would have to reject the need to live a life of repentance — Acts 17:30
You would have to reject God’s power in baptism — 1 Pet. 3:21; Col. 2:12
You would have to reject the purpose of baptism — 1 Pet. 3:21; Acts 2:38; Rom. 3:23
You would have to reject the demand for lifelong fidelity and allegiance to King Jesus — Matt. 28:18-20; Acts 2:36; Phil. 2:5-11
In truth, you would have to do a lot to be lost. God wants you saved and has made abundant provisions to accomplish this.
