A reminder for Judah: Wait on the Lord; He will give you strength.

For the generations facing Babylonian captivity, this lesson could not be preached enough. Truly, for every generation, this lesson needs to be preached. We want to find our own way; we want to hold onto the illusion of control. Instead, we should cry out to the Lord from our knees, trusting in Him to act in His time; refusing to trust in others where only He can sustain us, and be willing to lean on Him entirely.
