• When we are so busy that we can’t spend quality time in prayer… (1 Thess 5:17) 
• When we are so busy that we can’t spend quality time in the Word… (2 Tim 3:16-17) 
• When we are so busy that we can’t spend quality time with our family… (1 Tim 5:8) 
• When we are so busy that we can’t spend substantial time with our brethren… (Heb 10:24-25) 
• When we are so busy building bigger and better barns with no thought about our souls… (Luke 12:13-21)
• When we are so busy that we don’t have time to be still for reflection, contemplation, and meditation… (Psa 46:10) 
• When we are so busy that we cannot commit to help God’s people, to serve, to lead, to teach, to support, to strengthen, to pray for, to encourage… 
• When we are so busy with our luxuries that we can’t attend, can’t love, can’t lead, can’t be there for brethren… 

If we are this busy, then we are too busy. 

There is such a thing as too busy. Our culture is always too busy. 

“I’m in a hurry to get things done. I’m rushing, rushing, ‘till life’s no fun…” Alabama may not be where we should get our theology, but they reflect the hustle of our age. 

Slow down. Take some time to rethink how you use the time He gives you.
